Since arriving in Australia in 1961, Wolf Blass has always used the image of the Eaglehawk as a source of pride and inspiration. In 1966 when he started building his own winery he named it Bilyara, the aboriginal word for Eaglehawk, and to this day the image of the Eaglehawk is synonymous with Wolf Blass wines around the world. The Eaglehawk Riesling is a classic example of its type and one of Australia's most rewarded white wines. Aromas and flavours of citrus fruits combine with a wonderfully fresh palate to make this an ideal partner to Asian food, seafood and salads.
